The law firm of Ream, Carr, Markey, Woloshin & Hunter, LLP and its predecessors is one of the oldest law firms in York County, tracing its existence back to the firm’s founder, Attorney Thomas E. Cochran, in 1842. Names of the firm through the years have included Kain, Kain & Kain as well as Kain, Brown & Roberts before the firm’s name was changed to Ream, Carr, Markey & Woloshin in 2008. In 2017, the law firm name changed to Ream, Carr, Markey, Woloshin & Hunter.
While the firm’s name has changed through the years, our mission has not changed: we have consistently provided quality and concerned representation to countless individuals and businesses in York County in a wide variety of areas of the law. Currently, the attorneys of the firm, with the able assistance of the firm’s experienced paralegals and staff, represent and advise both individuals and businesses with various legal matters, including Business and Corporate Law, Bankruptcy, Estates/Wills/Trusts and Estate Planning, Family Law, Civil Litigation, Municipal Law, Mediation and Zoning.
